Mothers Day Afternoon Tea

This event was particularly exciting as we haven't hosted an afternoon tea for a long time. We were excited to get thinking about how we could improve what we did last time.
Here was our menu and also some pictures below:


Afternoon Tea with a Twist

Wholemeal sandwiches:
Egg and cress filling
Homemade hummus, grated carrot and beetroot

Individual goats cheese and red pepper quiche

Zesty scones
Fresh strawberry chia jam
Coconut cream

Mini vegan banana and peanut butter cake
Chocolate caramel shortbread
Lemon and raspberry tarts with cashew cream
Coconut macaroons with dark chocolate drizzle

Pancakes and avocado! Every fortnight we run a pop up breakfast cafe in Horspath village. Our is small but changes each time and we have been getting more confident each time. New Product!

One of our products that we have often used at the breakfast cafe is our homemade granola. It goes perfectly with yoghurt and different fruits such as pineapple and mango or raspberries and strawberries! It is one of the main staples in my own home kitchen as it can be eaten for breakfast, dessert or just to have as a snack.
